Thank you for choosing Jersey Garden Cleaning Company! Please review our terms below. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms. We look forward to providing you with an excellent cleaning experience.

At Jersey Garden Cleaning Company, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our customers as best as possible. However, to ensure fairness to our team and to our other customers, we reserve the right to charge the following fees via the card on file. Please consider how late or last-minute cancellations/reschedules can negatively impact our cleaners' anticipated earnings for the day—we are not always able to replace jobs on our schedule within such short notice.

Cancellations & Reschedules:

  • Cancellations/reschedules made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service will incur a $50 fee.
  • Cancellations/reschedules made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service will be charged 50% of the total booking price.
  • Cancellations/reschedules made on the same day of a scheduled service will be charged 100% of the booking price.

To avoid cancellation fees, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Thank you!

All of our billing is handled electronically via trusted 3rd-party provider Stripe, where you can pay by credit or debit card. It is not possible for us to see any payment method details, so rest assured that your information is safe. We will save your payment method on file and charge you automatically after each clean. Receipts will be emailed to your email on file. We require all clients to have a working payment method on file, otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel service.

24 hours ahead of your booking time, we will put a hold on your card equivalent to the amount of the booking to ensure funds are available—this is not a charge. If the hold fails, we reserve the right to cancel the service if we deem it necessary. You will be notified via text/call/email.

Our cleaning services are performed according to the specific service plan you have booked (Standard, Deep, or Move In/Out). Each plan includes a defined set of tasks as outlined on our cleaning checklist. Our cleaners will complete the tasks associated with your selected plan within the agreed-upon time frame.

If additional tasks or areas are requested on the day of service that fall outside the scope of your booked plan, our team will do their best to accommodate, but additional charges may apply. Any major scope changes should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

The following items are not included in standard cleaning services unless specifically requested and quoted as an add-on:

  • Interior windows (beyond standard glass/mirror cleaning)
  • Inside oven or refrigerator cleaning
  • Garage, attic, or basement deep cleaning
  • Exterior areas (patios, decks, porches)
  • Laundry, dishes, or organizing/decluttering
  • Cleaning of biohazard materials, mold, or excessive pet waste
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances
  • High areas that require a ladder beyond what our team safely carries

If you'd like any of these services added, please let us know when booking and we'll provide a custom quote.

To ensure our team can provide the best possible service, we ask that clients:

  • Provide clear and safe access to the home at the scheduled time (lockbox code, key under mat, or someone present to let us in).
  • Secure or inform us about pets before our arrival.
  • Remove or secure any valuables, fragile items, or personal belongings you do not want handled.
  • Ensure running water and electricity are available at the property.
  • Communicate any special instructions, problem areas, or off-limit rooms in advance.

If our team arrives and is unable to access the home, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation and the applicable cancellation fee will apply.

Our services are 100% guaranteed. If we don't clean something to your satisfaction, contact us within 24 hours with photos of the missed areas and we will return to make it right at no additional charge.

Jersey Garden Cleaning Company has a 24-hour warranty period from the day of completion of the cleaning. If you are home and notice that the cleaner overlooked something, please don't keep it to yourself! Feel free to ask them to re-clean the area or call our office before the cleaner leaves your home.

Complaints filed more than 24 hours after the completion of cleaning fall outside the warranty period and unfortunately may not be covered.

Our reclean guarantee covers areas that were part of your booked service plan but were missed or not cleaned to standard. The following are not covered under our reclean policy:

  • Areas or tasks that were not included in the original scope of your service plan.
  • Stains, discoloration, or buildup that cannot be removed through standard cleaning methods (e.g., hard water stains, grout discoloration, permanent carpet stains).
  • Damage or conditions caused by pre-existing wear and tear, incorrect installation, assembly, or usage of household items.
  • Issues reported more than 24 hours after the completion of service.

Jersey Garden Cleaning Company will not be held responsible for the repair or replacement of items broken or damaged due to pre-existing wear and tear, incorrect installation, assembly, or usage.

The safety and well-being of our cleaning team is our top priority. Jersey Garden Cleaning Company reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or leave a job without completing service if our staff encounters any of the following:

  • Verbal abuse, harassment, or threatening behavior directed at any member of our team.
  • Unsanitary or hazardous conditions that pose a health or safety risk (e.g., biohazard materials, pest infestations, hoarding conditions).
  • Unsupervised animals that are aggressive or pose a danger.
  • Any situation our team deems unsafe or uncomfortable.

If service is discontinued for any of the above reasons, the full service charge will still apply. We strive to maintain a respectful and professional relationship with all of our clients and expect the same courtesy in return.

If you have any concerns about a charge, we ask that you contact us directly before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us will result in immediate suspension of your account and all future services. We reserve the right to pursue collection of any unpaid balances, including any fees incurred from the dispute process.

Jersey Garden Cleaning Company is fully insured. In the unlikely event that property damage occurs during a cleaning session, please notify us within 24 hours with photos and a description of the damage.

We will investigate all claims promptly and in good faith. Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to a maximum of $500 per incident. We are not liable for:

  • Items damaged due to pre-existing wear and tear, improper installation, or fragile condition.
  • Items not disclosed or brought to our team's attention prior to cleaning.
  • Damage caused by the use of client-supplied cleaning products.
  • Indirect or consequential damages of any kind.

Either party may terminate recurring cleaning services at any time with at least 48 hours' notice before the next scheduled appointment. No termination fees apply when proper notice is given.

Jersey Garden Cleaning Company reserves the right to terminate service at any time for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Repeated late payments or failed payment methods.
  • Hostile, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward our staff.
  • Unsafe or hazardous home conditions.
  • Violation of any terms outlined in this agreement.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the services provided shall be resolved in the courts of Union County, New Jersey.

Our office hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays.
